Description : The Pouquelaye de Faldouet is a dolmen , located on the territory of the parish of Saint-Martin , rue des Marettes, on the Channel Island of Jersey . The Pouquelaye de Faldouet is made up of 17 orthostats forming a 5 m long corridor dolmen , which leads to a large round chamber covered with a single cover table. This cover table, in rhyolite , weighs approximately 24 t . It comes from a quarry which is located about 0.5 km north of the megalithic site. The dolmen is surrounded by two dry stone walls and a sort of incomplete ring of standing stones. This large circular space was not covered. The megalithic complex was erected around 4000 - 3250 BCE
